A short trip to start the season off – from Amsterdam Marina to Muiden. With an easterly, we decided to motor across from the Oranjesluis as it was just a couple of miles anyway. On the way across we were waved over by a motor boat who were anchored and had broken down. We offered them a lift to Muiden, but they decided they needed to get to Amsterdam, so declined. We may still see them out there when we set off again! Once in Muiden we managed to get a lovely berth in the Jachthaven Muiden with the castle in the background and the Royal Yacht just behind us – we are definitely out of our class! Had a lovely evening meal by the lock in Muiden watching the world go by.
