It’s that time of year again and the days are drawing in – time for the boat to come out of the water. The mast came down some weeks ago and over the winter the rigging will be re-done – a 10 year update. She came out of the water last week, and the antifoul is being blasted off in preparation for the bottom being ‘copper-coated’ over the winter. In January she will move into the shed to be dried out and epoxied and the coppercoat will then be applied. Then, fingers crossed, no more antifouling for 10 years!
