Medemblik to Enkhuizen – 13.1 miles in 3 hours and 35 minutes
A short trip today, back to Enkhuizen to pick up John. Enkhuizen is one of the easiest places to get to from Amsterdam by train, so we headed out of Medemblik in a very light easterly to tack across to Enkhuizen. Though the forecast suggested the breeze would drop from 8 knots to nothing, we held just enough breeze to sail all the way – a real bonus. In Enkhuizen we came back to the Compagnieshaven – the marina just north of town. A lovely day’s sailing.
