Another beautiful sail today. The wind stayed in the south, so after a delicious Pecan slice and Kanelbulle (cinammon roll) from the local bakery, we headed north east up through the Archipelago to Namdo. It was a dead run for a lot of the way, but with the wind occasionally nudging 22 knots, we poled out the genoa rather than putting a spinnaker up. The wind was quite variable, but we made good time doing over 34 miles in just over 6 hours. In Namdo, we have tucked into a bay on the northern end of the island called Skarvassa. Very sheltered and by tucking well into the bay, we are anchored in about 5 metres of water.
The anchor seems to have held well as it took the weight of both us and Airborne alongside while they came for drinks. For full details of the route, follow the link below:
