With a crew change over needed today (Alan arrived at Nykoping around midday), Leslie and I left Gallno promptly to try and get to Vaxholm by lunchtime. We did have to motor for a short time, but otherwise, there was just enough breeze for a slow and relaxing sail to Vaxholm. It was downwind most of the way, but we made good progress and arrived in Vaxholm in time for a late lunch. We were followed in by the lifeboat towing a small traditional motor cruiser.
After a stock up at both the supermarket and the System Bolaget, we met Alan off the ferry from Stockholm at 5.30pm. We had a nice evening walk around Vaxholm old town and harbour.
