We set off promptly this morning. We wanted to get a berth in Vaxholm as we figured that would be the best place to watch the football, but Vaxholm is like Piccadilly Circus at this time of year. So, we left Ekholmen at 9am, arriving just an hour and a quarter later at Vaxholm. We timed it well – with lots of boats leaving there was plenty of space, but by midday it was pretty much full (apart from the bookable dockspot spaces, but they were all booked anyway!). High season rates have clearly well and truly kicked in as this time is cost us 390SEK for the night – a lot more than the last visit.
